Hey y’all, hey! Can you believe this started out as a little canvas tote bag? It sure did! And now it reminds me of a Bingo card with XOXO as the winner!
This is an easy project, so follow along here on the blog or check out the video link for all the fun!

Let’s make it!
First, I removed the drawstrings from the bag and then opened the bag by removing the stitches. I was able to just rip the bag open, but then used scissors to cut the bottom. You can also use a seam ripper.
Then I trimmed the raw edges.
I painted the inside and outside edges of my surface and used my heat tool to dry it. You can set yours aside or use a blow dryer to dry yours.
I placed my scrapbook paper in the frame and pressed the edges, then cut it with my Xacto knife. I finished by cutting the raw edges.
I used Mod Podge on the frame to adhere the paper.
Painting small pieces is a lot easier if you use masking tape to hold them! After the letters dried, I used my sanding sponge to distress them a bit.
The plaid background was visible behind my canvas panel, so I put Mod Podge on a piece of foam core, then smoothed my canvas panel over it. Then I dried it with my heat tool.
I used hot glue to adhere the foam core to the frame, then glued on my letters.
I made a beaded hanger and this craft is ready to display for Valentine’s Day. Our friends suggested black and white, and that was perfect!
TIP: Use an even number of beads when making a hanger so your craft will hang correctly.
Here it is! Simple and cute!
I hope you enjoyed this craft! I sure enjoyed making it. Let me know in the comments what you think!
