Hey girl, hey! Now how about an interchangeable decor piece for the holidays? Today it’s pumpkins, tomorrow, Christmas trees? I am using a riser that I previously created, and this adorable pumpkin set that has its own base! It can simply be removed and another holiday arrangement placed on the riser. Check it out!

Click here, or on the photo below to see how to make the riser.

Supplies:

Dollar Tree: Craft Sticks, wood cube, Tumbling Tower Game blocks, wood pallets, pumpkin, wood pieces for stems, moss
Hobby Lobby: wood snowmen (used as feet for the riser that I made in advance. See link and photo above)
Stash: Burlap, raffia, small flower
Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan, Apothecary, Hey Sailor
Walmart: Waverly Antique Wax

Let’s make it!
When painting those pallets, be sure to get the insides, outsides and undersides! This one is painted with Hey Sailor from Debi’s Design Diary. (If you watch the video, you’ll see that I changed the color up a bit before landing on Hey Sailor.)

This one is painted with Debi’s Design Diary Apothecary.

And this one? Debi’s Design Diary White Swan.

I gave each of the blue ones a bit of a dry brush with my White Swan, just to tone the color a bit.
Then I sanded them down just a little.

Next, I dry brushed Waverly Antique Wax to give it some more texture and age.

I added the Tumbling Tower Game blocks to the backs of each one of my pallets so they will all stand up.

I put two on this one, then added extra glue to the bottoms of all of them.

My base is just two wood slats held together with pieces of craft sticks.
I hot glued burlap over the top.

Getting there! We need ribbon, greenery and raffia!

And here we are! Y’all, I just love this! it’s such a cute collection of fall favorites, from the pumpkins to the raffia!

Comment below and let me know what you think of today’s project! I appreciate each and every one of you!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
