USA, Land of Liberty!! Who doesn’t love a good ole American project. This one was so simple and easy, your gonna love it. I’ll walk you through how I put everything together and all the supplies I used.
Supplies Used:
- “USA” sticker embellishment from Hobby Lobby.
- Wooden block 2 x 6 from Hobby Lobby
- White acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Mod Podge
- Hot Glue gun and glue sticks
- Variety of ribbon and raffia for a Refab bow
- 10mm white wooden beads
- 1 Treat bag from Dollar Tree
Now that we have all of our supplies, let’s get crafty!

First I started with painting the edges of my wooden block with my White Apple Barrel Acrylic paint. Then I made sure it was dry by using my heat gun from Harbor Freight.
Next, I cut open my treat bag, so that I could use it just like a piece of scrapbook paper. I then layed my wooden block on top of my paper and traced out the wooden block, then I cut it out.
Now it’s time for some Mod Podge. I applied a small amount of Mod Podge to my wooden block and I spread it out with my paintbrush. Then I applied my paper to the block and smoothed out any bubbles or wrinkles.
Now it’s time to add our sticker embellishment to the wooden block. I used Hot glue to apply the sticker and it worked perfect.
Lastly we just needed a beautiful topper for this project. I grabbed a variety of ribbons and burlap to create an adorable Refab bow. I also added a few small wooden beads too. This ended up being the perfect addition for this project!!
Heres a quick Video Tutorial for this project:
I hope you love this project just as much as I do!!
