In our house the magic of Christmas starts as soon as we put up our Christmas Tree. There is something so magical about the twinkle of the lights that glisten from our Christmas Tree. I am going to walk you through how to decorate a beautiful tree year after year. It is a lot easier than you think.
Lets get started!
#1
Christmas Tree
You will need a 6-9 foot Christmas Tree, I prefer an artificial flocked tree, but any tree will work. I found my tree at WalMart on clearance for 90% off at the end of the season last year. Always shop the end of season sales when your in the market for a new tree.

#2
Decorative Mesh
Decorative mesh is one of my favorite fillers for my Christmas tree. It not only looks great, but it also fills in bare spots perfectly. I purchased mine at Michaels.

#3
Ornaments
I love a good mix of oversized ornaments with a variety of smaller handmade ornaments.
* Gnome Christmas ornament, Oversized Red Truck Ornament, MERRY Ornament

#4
Christmas picks and sprigs
I have always been an angel or star tree topper kind of gal. But recently I started using a variety of picks and sprigs and I just love the look of them now. Just figure out your colors or theme, and grab a good bundle of picks and sprigs. For this tree I used a lot of red and white, so you can see that’s what I used for my sprig tree topper.

#5
Ribbon
You will want to grab 2-3 different spools of ribbon. I just cut off a strip of ribbon about 10 inches long from each spool. then I cut dove tails and lay them on top of each other. Next fold them over and use some floral wire or a twist tie to bring them together. Once they are secured together, just fluff them out and add them to your tree. These also work as great fillers for your tree as well.

Have fun with the process, do what feels good to you. There is no right or wrong way to decorate a tree. If you love it and it makes you happy, GO FOR IT!!

Just all I can say is “WOW”! Nice job and love the trees and decor around the tree. I even notice the tiny little subtle holly garland on the window. Wish I had your eye and talent.
