I found this little heart wheelbarrow at a local thrift store not too long ago. It’s definitely a perfect little addition to the Valentine’s decor in my home.

I started with cleaning it up really well. Then, I lightly sanded any rough spots.

I used our chalk paint recipe to mix my paint color. You can find the recipe right here. I chose to use a valspar 8oz sample from Lowes.


It took a couple of coats to get it covered. I then used my sanding sponge from dollar tree to distress the edges giving it the look I wanted.
The heart looked a little plain, which made the perfect canvas for the Love Heart Chalk Couture transfer. If you are interested in any Chalk Couture products, or more info about what I used, you can check out this link. I applied the transfer in a video that you can watch right here.
A little lambs ear, and it looks absolutely perfect. In my opinion. I just love how it turned out!
