Hey girl, hey! I love this barrel I found while thrift shopping, and decided to make a top for it!

Come have some fun while I create a lid for it!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree: pizza pan
Amazon: Click to see: Mod Podge, sanding sponge, heat tool (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Thrifted: wood slats
Stash: Staples, hammer, tin snips

Here’s the barrel I found!

The wood slats are very thin so I put a coat of Mod Podge on both sides, then dried them with my heat tool. I think the Mod Podge made them a bit stronger!

I used E6000 glue and spread it out on my pizza pan, then I placed my wood slats on the pan.

After placing them on the glued pan, I stapled them on. And safety glasses are important! Don’t forget to wear yours!

The staples went through the pan a little bit, so I hammered them down.

I traced around the pan so I’d know where to cut.

I used my tin snips to cut my circle.
TIP: Wear your safety glasses!

I sanded it down with my sanding sponge.

And hammered the top to get those staples to flatten out more.

It’s really pretty just as it is!

I love how this project turned out! This barrel table would be cute on a porch or as a side table. Comment below to let me know how you might style yours. I enjoy reading your comments!
Thank you for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
