Hey Friends,
Sometimes decorating on a budget is as simple as taking 2 things you like and putting them together. Half of the time I walk through the house I find at least one or two things that I’m like, “Hey they would make the perfect couple.”
That is what happened with this little addition to my dining room gallery wall. Micheal’s had a sale on unfinished wood signs and I picked a couple of them up for $3.50ish a piece. I didn’t know what for, just that I was sure I would use them at some point for something. That’s how I end up with the majority of my craft supplies.

This “I will love you ’til the cows come home” sign was a gift from my Husband. I know he got it at Tractor Supply. When he gave it to me it brightened my day! Such a subtle little gesture, that made me smile.

I don’t know about y’all but I see little metal signs like this all of the time and think they are super cute, but I also think they would be so much cuter with a little extra oomph. The wooden sign from Micheal’s was the oomph needed in this case.

Y’all, I wish I could tell you this was a super difficult project that took extreme skill, and was a completely original thought, but it was none of those things. One of my favorite crafter/diyer/home decorators did something just like it for her gallery wall. You can see it on her blog right here. All this project took were two screws, 5 minutes of my time, and a little imagination.
TA DAHHHHH!!!!

I almost felt silly making it live. You can watch that video tutorial here if you’d like. As silly as it felt because of it’s simplicity, I hope it will inspire you to look around your house and find a couple of objects to put together that maybe you just didn’t know what to do with before now. If you do, make sure you send us pictures.
I’m really loving how this little piece adds that little extra hint of special to my gallery wall!
You’ll have to stay tuned for a full tour of this little corner of my home! Coming soon!
I just love how this little thing turned out. If you like it as much as I do would you do me a favor and…
PIN IT FOR LATER.
