Hey girl, hey! So I’m not a fan of the sweet mixtures with cottage cheese, like fruit or honey, but I do love a savory one! Today we are making a pizza bowl! Check out the video below, or just follow along here!
Ingredients: (serves one)
2 heaping tbsp of cottage cheese (My favorite is Kroger’s large curd)
Shredded Mozzarella (make it as cheesy as you want)
1 tbsp marinara sauce
A few slices of pepperoni
Spinach leaves (you may want to chop these)
A sprinkle of Italian seasoning
A small handful of sliced black olives
1 tbsp chopped onion (more or less, depending on your tastes)
Microwave for 30 seconds, stir and microwave again for 20-30 seconds.
Y’all, I prefer Kroger large curd cottage cheese and Classico marinara. I added the marinara to my cottage cheese, then my spinach leaves (I’m thinking I should have chopped them), then added the other ingredients: onion, olives, pepperoni, Italian seasoning and topped it with my mozzarella cheese.
I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirred and put in again for 30 seconds. That’s it, y’all! That’s all there is to it!
TEN OUT OF TEN recommend! It’s so good, y’all, and a great source of protein. Just put what you like on a pizza, and bam! It’s done!
I keep cottage cheese in my fridge at all times. I love it as a snack, with cucumber and ranch. I also like it with avocado and walnuts! Let me know in the comments what you enjoy with your cottage cheese. I hear some people use it in lasagne instead of ricotta!
