Before we dive in to the crafting, let’s check out that Woodshop release!
Look at that glue gun, y’all! Is that the cutest? We are going to craft with this one today.

Our three sizes of Pom Pom makers, stackable egg holder, Pumpkin Pie recipe board and… speaking of pumpkins….

…we also have these adorable pumpkins (just perfect for a banner), a sign directing your guests to the pumpkins and a nearsighted ghost, complete with adorable eyeglasses! (That ghost will be one of our projects today also!)

I stained the adorable egg stand to show y’all how it looks! See that little bump at the top end? That’s so you can stack them, y’all! That’s right! If you have chickens, you know what I mean when I say a stacking egg stand is a must-have.

Here it is with paints! One of our friends suggested this. Genius!

So here we go with today’s craft!
I have a Dollar Tree sign for my surface. I used my heat tool to heat up the glue and pry off the embellishments. Then I cut my scrapbook paper to fit. BUT it was a little short, so I painted a strip at the top and bottom of the surface to act as a border along the edges of my paper.
I painted on my Mod Podge and then added my scrapbook paper.

Now for the “Let’s Get Crafty” Woodshop design!
Look at that little glue gun, y’all! It’s so stinkin’ cute!
I painted the background wood piece black, then painted the letters pink and also white.
TIP: Lay your letters on a strip of painter’s tape to paint them. It makes it so much easier!
You can see on the sign that there is a cutout showing where to place your letters.
I just glued them on, and it’s done!

My mom and dad stopped in to say hi! They are traveling and staying with us for a bit.

I used some Tumbling Tower Game blocks to raise the pieces up a bit, added a beaded banner at the top, and we have an adorable sign for the craft room!

Now for the ghost! It’s going to be so cute, y’all!
I painted the ghost and glasses with White Swan, then added a thick layer of Mod Podge onto the glasses. I sprinkled jumbo glitter onto them so our ghost will be spooky AND fancy!
Next, I put googly eyes on the word “Boo” (from Dollar Tree) and hot glued the glasses and Boo to the ghost.

I then measured and cut my scrapbook paper for the background.
Before placing it on, I covered the surface with Mod Podge. I sprinkled the glitter on the top and bottom edges.
I laid the scrapbook paper on and smoothed it out.
Finally, I put Tumbling Tower Game blocks from Dollar Tree on the back of my ghost to raise it up, then hot glued it to the surface.

I added a beaded hanger, and my “Boo” project is done!

I can’t wait to craft with all of the other Woodshop pieces! Let me know in the comments what sets are your favorites!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
