Hey Y’all!
My friend Kris has a New Years Eve tradition she does with her kids. For years now my Niece and Nephew have participated, and last year we joined in the festivities with Riley. It is always such a good time. I don’t know about y’all but the days of partying all night and poppin’ bottles are long gone over here. This tradition is so much fun, and great to do with the kids in your family.
All you need are some balloons and a little bit of creativity.

The fun always starts around 5pm. There are 7 Balloons blown up with little papers in side. Each balloon represents each hour, and the paper inside the balloon contains the activity the kids will do at that hour.

The kids alternate who get’s to pop each balloon to reveal the surprise activity.
Here are some examples of things that they have done in the past.
5pm- Decorate Party Hats

6pm- Make a snack/ Decorate Cookies

7pm-Candles/Craft

8pm- Play a Game
9pm- Dance Party

10pm- Fireworks
11pm- Karaoke

12am- Happy New Year Celebration
These are just some ideas. Feel free to customize it to whatever would be the most enjoyable for your family! You still have time to run to your local dollar tree and stock up on some fun things to use or do. We just love this tradition, and we can’t wait until we are living at home for good so that we can do it every year!
If you think it’s a cute idea, would you do us a little favor and…
PIN IT FOR LATER

Happy New Year~
