Hey Y’all!!
This project started with me wanting a frame wreath. I’ve seen them all over pinterest, and I love how unique they are. I also wanted to incorporate a Santa hat, because we have a million of them laying around this house!! This is what I came up with and I couldn’t love it any more than I do!!
Here’s what you need:

- A Frame
- Bells
- Santa Hat
- Wired Ribbon (for the beard)
- Scissors
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Red Paint
- A red puff ball for the nose.
- Twine
I started with painting the frame red. It started as gold, and had a very smooth finish. I picked it up from a thrift store for $1.
Next, I started making the mustache. To do that I took a long strip of ribbon and twisted it in the center, and at both ends where I attached the ribbon to both bottom corners of the frame. I added a pipe cleaner to the back of the mustache for extra support. I have to be honest y’all and tell you that the idea for the construction of the mustache came from the super crafty Mr. Lizzy.
The beard was next, and this idea was all mine. Ha!! I cut strips of my ribbon, all random lengths, and twisted the tops attaching them to the bottom of the frame. Since you are using wired ribbon, it is easy to curl the strips to give your beard some texture. After you finish this step, trim any pieces that may be sticking up above the bottom of the frame.
I added a red pom pom for the nose, attaching it with hot glue.

The eyes are made out of two little jingle bells. I tied them to jute, and then attached them to the back of the frame so that they would hang down into the center.

TAH DAHHH! WE have an adorable Santa Frame Wreath!!!
