Hey Y’all,
I am very excited about this post. It’s going to have a whole lot of “MATH” in it, but it’s the good kind of Math. It’s the kind of Math that shows me how much money I saved shopping all of the After Christmas Craft Store Sales.
I know by now most of the stores are picked through, and there may not be much left, but let this post inspire you to find all the things next year, and save up for those 70, 80, and 90% off days.

Let’s start with Joann Fabric
There’s a little trick to their sales that can be a little mis leading. The signs state 70% off PLUS and additional 20% off select craft items. I filled my cart with all things that would be included in that 70 plus 20 sale. To me 70 plus 20 is 90. Therefor I THOUGH I was getting everything for 90% off. NOPE. The way they figure it is they first take the 70% off the price and then take the 20% off the lesser amount. This only equals to about 77% off. (It’s confusing I KNOW)! I still got lots of little goodies at great prices.
10 Rolls of Red Wire Mesh. Which should have cost me $100 for all 10 Rolls. After the 77% off I only spent $23 which breaks it down to about $2.30 a roll. NOT TOO SHABBY!

I also picked up lot’s of little crafty things that I think can work for different Holiday’s, not just Christmas. Oh, and this cute gift box! My total for these items full price was $58 after discount I spent $13.34

Joann’s Total before Discount $158. After Discount $36.34
Now to Michael’s
Their sales were pretty straight forward. 70% off Christmas, and 80% off Christmas Floral.
My favorite little find is this “SANTA” Metal “Mailbox”. I actually think it would be adorable on my coffee bar during Christmas holding all of the K-Cups, and that is how I plan to use it. It was Originally $40, after discounts I spent $12

They had a ton of cute Christmas Tins left so I grabbed several. I had my mama and her fudge making in mind for these!! Regular price $47, I spent $14.10

Christmas floral was 80% off so I grabbed up 5 Cotton Stems. Original Price $50 after discounts $10

The BIG ONE for me Was HOBBY LOBBY. Between two different Hobby Lobby’s I was actually able to find a good bit left during the 90% off sale. It was definitely picked over, but I’m still excited about what I got.
CHRISTMAS DISHES for 6- Original Price $78 after Discount $7.80

Some of my Favorite things from the Gallery below were BIG savings. The beautiful wreath normally $179 was only $18, The farmhouse Christmas pillow normally $25 was only $2.50. So many deals below. The total was $426, and after discounts I spent $42.60.

Another BIG find was this Vintage Santa Picture (It’s HUGE)! Normally $59.99, and I got it for $5.99. SCORE!

If you’ve been hanging out with us on Social Media during the Holiday Season, you know I didn’t have a Christmas tree until purchasing one at Dollar General. WELL to say I got lucky in finding my forever tree is an understatement. THIS WAS THE LAST one and WE HAD PERFECT TIMING. I had to have Mr. Lizzy set it up for me so I could take a picture, and I was happy to find that you can take sections out to make it shorter if your space doesn’t allow for the whole 9feet.

9ft Pre-lit Christmas Tree.. Originally $600, after discount I spent $60. HUGE SCORE!!!

Have y’all been keeping track of all the numbers. NUMBERS MAKE MY HEAD SPIN, but these NUMBERS make me SMILE.
Total between all three stores before discounts. $1459 after discounts $188.24
THAT’S A TOTAL SAVINGS OF $1270.76!!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!
There is only one way to save even more than that during the after Christmas Sales. Just stay home…. and we all know that’s not going to happen ;).
If you liked this post, could you do us a little favor and..
PIN IT FOR LATER

XOXO- LIZZY
Disclaimer- Math isn’t my favorite sport, so the numbers may not be exact… I did the best my brain would allow.
You did really good. Hobby Lobby. I found the large tube of ornaments in gold red and swirled. One was missing so I got it for $2.00. Dollar Tree I went to 3 different ones and found 6 packs of battery operation lights. All were on the gold and silver wire for 50 cents each
Great job!
Lizzy that’s awesome I love you girls and I support you and Erin 100percent do the math.
