Hey y’all, hey! Today my son Finn and I are making some Christmas treats for our delivery drivers, because we appreciate them so much. Come hang out on the video below, or just follow along here to see what we are making.
This recipe is the one I’m including with the gift. They will need to get a pie crust and add the eggs and butter.
I used some large clear bags to hold everything. I placed a piece of cardboard in the bottom, then added some shredded paper.
I taped the recipe to the inside of a Christmas card, and I’ll tuck it into the bag.
Notice: The ingredients are separate based on how they will be used in the recipe. The flour and sugars are in the small jar while the nuts and chocolate chips are in a bag.
TIP: Don’t include nuts if this is a gift for a teacher due to possible allergies.
Finn has a secret! I think he wanted more chocolate chips!
We prepared our cards, and Finn had his own idea of what the sentiment should be. He notices that sometimes we sign for packages, so the delivery driver needs to sign for pie!
Here it is, all bagged up and ready to go! What a sweet gift for our sweet delivery folks!
I hope y’all try this recipe, and maybe even make some of these gifts to share! Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever made this recipe. It’s a favorite at our house!
