Hey girl, hey! Would you like to make a quick and easy craft? Well how about this adorable tray stand where all you need is some chalk paint, glue and a couple of things from Dollar Tree? You know I got you!

Dollar Tree: Margarita glass, plastic scalloped tray (in party section)
Amazon: E6000, sanding sponge Click here to check out my crafting essentials (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Stash: Polycrylic seal
Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: mixed color, it’s a blue/grey
Let’s make it!
I’m using my Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint for this, not only because I LOVE this paint, but also because it is a clay / chalk base and works for glass as well as plastic. I painted on two coats.
TIP: Watch the scallops. The paint might pile up, so just smooth it out with your paintbrush.
TIP: You can use acrylic paint, but you’ll need something to bind it with. You can try mixing some with Mod Podge or just paint your glass or plastic with Mod Podge first, then with acrylic.
TIP: Spray paint would also work! Just check the label and make sure your spray paint is good for both plastic and glass.

Now for the margarita glass: just paint on two coats!
Y’all, we are almost done!

I sanded just a little with a fine grit, just enough to distress it a bit.

You can use this either way! Put your tray with the scallops down or up, whichever you prefer.

I used two glues: E6000 for a permanent hold, and hot glue to hold it immediately. The E6000 will dry overnight.

Now it’s time to decorate! The little jars were clear glass jars from Dollar Tree that I painted with Debi’s Design Diary Mint Chip. They are perfect to store Q-tips, cotton balls and more! The beaded craft is one I did for fall with Dollar Tree beaded wreaths, pumpkins and greenery.
These trays are great for all kinds of displays!

Here’s a link to the Bead Wreath Pumpkin project! I’m so happy with the way this turned out! Let me know in the comments what you think. I read each one!
