Hey Y’all!
Christmas decorating is in full swing at my house, and the DIY projects haven’t stopped! I had a couple of the small Dollar Tree Christmas Trees laying around that I wanted to give a little makeover for my entertainment center. This was so easy and they turned out super cute!

Here’s what I used for this project:

- Dollar Tree Small Christmas Tree
- 1 Package of Garland Ties
- Jute/Twine
- Square piece of fabric. (I cut up a vinyl table cloth because that is what I had. Use what you have already or buy a fat quarter from Walmart).
- Glass Jar
- Styrofoam Ball
- Scissors
I cut out my piece of fabric making sure it was big enough to cover my jar.

Then I opened up my tree, and removed the little piece at the bottom.

Next, I took the styrofoam ball and put it inside the glass jar. The Tree will stick right in the ball.

I put my jar in the center of my fabric and gathered it up around the tree. Tie it off with a piece of Jute/Twine pretty tight just to make sure that everything stays in place.

At this point you can trim your fabric to make sure it looks how you want.

Once the branches of the tree were spread out, it was obvious that we needed some filler.

I took the package of garland ties and started wrapping one by one around the middle to make the tree look a little more full.

That was it!!! It was so simple, and they turned out very very cute. They make the perfect addition to my entertainment center.

You could decorate them with small ornaments, or just leave them bare like I did. String lights or don’t. Send us pictures of how yours turn out if you make some.
If you love how these turned out as much as we do. Could you do us a little favor and…
