I love this project for so many reasons, y’all! Is it the blue? Is it the “hello” sentiment? Is it the lemons? YES! It’s all those things and more!

A Dollar Tree sign and tile, some paint and our exclusive Lizzy and Erin Woodshop cutouts! Add some glue, and bam! We have a beautifully crafted project!

Supplies:
Dollar Tree: Easter cutting board shaped sign, tile, fabric, chalkboard paint
Lizzy and Erin Woodshop Creations: “Hello Lemon”
Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: Hey Sailor, White Swan, Aviary
Amazon: Sanding sponge, heat tool (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Walmart: Apple Barrel Pale Daffodil
Y’all, this craft is similar to the one we did here! But I do love it on the blue background! (Just click on that link to check it out!)

Let’s make it!
Peel off paper layer of your sign and sand down any rough parts that are left.

Trace sign onto the Dollar Tree tile, then cut out. This sign is too tall for the tile, so we will improvise shortly!

The hot glue can melt your tile, so put it on the surface (not the tile) and don’t put a lot, just a thin layer!
Press the tile on and smooth it out.

For that top part: I traced a piece that looked like it would match the pattern on the top, and cut it out. I had to give it a few trimmy-trims to make it fit. If it didn’t fit, we would make it work! Put a bow on it or something!

This Debi’s Design Diary “Hey Sailor” paint is gorgeous!

Just paint it on, girl!

Put a second coat on if you need it, and you can either set it aside to dry or use your heat tool. Remember not to heat up that tile too much. It will melt!

Sand it just enough to get the detail to show through. Just a smidge, girl, just a smidge.

Well, I was planning to use some white wax, but y’all! She’s gorgeous just like this!

I decided to paint my “hello” wood shape with Debi’s Design Diary White Swan. I put on two coats and then dried it.

It’s Apple Barrel Pale Daffodil for the lemons. And yes, I got too much paint on there! It’ll be alright.

New items will be coming soon to the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop, so keep an eye out!

I painted the leaves with Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint in Aviary, then sanded a bit.

Now just glue them on with your hot glue.

I used this cotton ticking fabric from Dollar Tree to make a hanger. Just snip and rip! Then you have a strip perfect for looping through the hole.

I just love how this turned out! I hope you try this fun craft!

Comment below and let me know what you think of this project! It’s cheerful and it was fun to make.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
