Hey y’all! Today we are making this super cute pumpkin from beaded wreaths I found at Dollar Tree! Check out the video below for lots of tips and tricks, or follow along here!

Supplies:

Note: I used a beige pumpkin instead of the orange one pictured above. If you cannot find the beaded wreaths, just check out the Amazon link in the supply list for the 20mm beads. Use a sturdy wire to string the beads and make some of your own.
Supplies:
Dollar Tree: Sweater pumpkin picks, small wood cubes, moss, four beaded wreaths
Thrifted: Floral foam
Stash: White floral wire, thrifted finial, greenery, lambs ear
Hobby Lobby: Berry garland sprigs
Amazon: cork round, 20mm wood beads IF you cannot find the beaded wreaths. Click here to check out my favorite crafting supplies (This is an Amazon affiliate link and I may receive a small compensation for items purchased from this link.)
Let’s make it!
I shared this option on the video: Imagine this with beautiful flowers in it and fairy lights! Hang it from the ceiling or use it as a centerpiece. There are so many possibilities!
You can also change it up and even make an interchangeable center for all seasons.

It’s hard to tell by the picture, but I just wired the tops and then the bottoms of my beaded wreaths with white floral wire. I think they might do better if you remove some beads first, because I found that the beads actually stacked on top of one another rather than meet with a “flat” center.
TIP: Paint the beads before creating your project. Adding a little water to the color of your choice helps the paint go on quickly and it dries faster than thick paint.

I hot glued mine to a cork round and used a few small wood cubes (also square beads) to help support everything on the cork base.
Next I pressed down to make sure everything adhered well.
I also pressed gently on the top to bend the wreaths to make it more of a pumpkin shape.

I added some floral foam with hot glue, then greenery.

Next, I put moss around the sides of the floral foam and also on the greenery to make a nest for our pumpkins.

I added the finial on top with a bunch of hot glue, then glued on two raffia bows. To finish, I curled pieces of a berry garland onto a dowel, then hot glued them onto the top. They are curly like vines. You can see them best in the first picture of this blog post.
The pumpkins aren’t glued just yet. I was deciding about the colors.

I glued the pumpkins onto the “nest”, and by the way, the beige one won over the orange!

And here we have it! I am loving how this turned out, y’all!

Can you imagine how this would look as a centerpiece? Let me know in the comments what you think!

XOXO-Erin
