Hey Y’all!
I picked up this solid little picture frame at goodwill recently, and immediately when I saw it I knew I wanted to turn it into a pumpkin that could hold my favorite fall photo of me and MY pumpkin!

I cleaned the frame up before painting it with several coats of Waverly brand chalk paint in the color “Pumpkin”. I already had it on hand, but you can pick some up at Walmart if you need to.
After making sure it was pretty solid, I took a piece of fine grit sand paper and distressed the edges a bit.
Decorating the pumpkin was my favorite part. Let yourself get creative with it. I chose to add burlap ribbon stripes, and layer it with some olive and orange fall ribbon that I found on sale at Joann’s.
I grabbed a stick from the yard and broke it up into small pieces for my stem. Initially I thought I wanted my stripes to be horizontal but after getting it together I realized I liked them much better vertical.
I finished it off with super cute Re-Fabbed bow and a leaf from one of the many packages of leaves I picked up from the dollar tree recently.

That’s it y’all! I think it turned out so dang cute and it’s the perfect little piece to showcase my favorite fall photo of me and my little one!

If you love how it turned out as much as we do, then could you do us a little favor and…
