DIY Spring Pillow Made From a Cup Towel

Hey Y’all!!

You know we LOVE our Pillow Projects! Mainly because they are so simple, and always turn out super cute!

A while back in our “Craftin’ and Laughin'” Subscription group, the ladies helped me pick out a super cute cup towel at Hobby Lobby. It has the same design on both sides, so you get 2 projects for the price of one towel.

I also dug through my fabric stash and pulled out this cute yellow polka dot material I already had.

I started with cutting the towel in half. Of course, I saved the other half for another project.

Then I cut out a piece of the polka dot fabric, about an inch larger than the towel on all sides.

The excess became my seam. I simply folded it over and glued the seam down just so my edges would look a little better. Use fabric hot glue if you plan to wash your pillow.

Once my pieces were all prepped I simply glued the towel to the polkadot material. I left the top open and stuffed it with the insides of an old pillow that was destine for the trash. Once it was full I closed up the top with my hot glue.

Easy Peasy, and it turned out SO SO CUTE!

If you love this as much as we do, could you do us a little favor and…

If you make a cute cup towel pillow, send us pictures! We would love to see.

DISCLAIMER: Here at Lizzy and Erin we feel like we would be doing you a BIG disservice if we tried to sew something! Hear us when we say… WE DON’T SEW. There are lot’s of crafters who do, so before you send us messages scolding us for our lack of sewing, take in to consideration that we are perfectly content with our Hot Glue Guns and that isn’t going to change any time soon! xoxo
