DIY Scrap Fabric Valentine’s Banner

Hey Y’all,

My favorite part of this DIY is that it can easily be done with materials you already have.

Here’s what I used

  • A strip of canvas, left over from my drop cloth curtains.
  • Buffalo Check Hand Towel. You could easily use scrap fabric that you already have laying around.
  • Rafia
  • Buttons
  • Hot Glue/ Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Twine
  • Ribbon

I started with attaching the twine to the top of the canvas strip. Tie it off first, and then place it at the top. Fold the canvas over and glue it down. This will hold the Twine in place.

I cut a piece of accent ribbon the length of the canvas strip and attached it using hot glue.

I cut the hand towel in 3 small square sections. I folded it in half and cut it making my heart shapes.

I then attached the hearts to the ribbon using hot glue.

All that is left is to add a cute raffia bow, and then added a little button detail to the center heart.

This was so simple to do, and it turned out SUPER CUTE!

If you love it as much as we do, could you do us a little favor and…
