When I think of Fall, I immediately think of rich colors. I think of the beautiful warm tones of the changing leaves on the Aspen trees in Colorado. Fall makes me feel cozy, and all things warm and fuzzy. I love Fall so much that I try to achieve that feeling in my home all year long.
I’M OBSESSED WITH BURLAP SACKS. I love them!!! I love the texture , and the character each individual one has. I have them EVERYWHERE in my home!!

I picked this one up at the Antique Booth Mall that Erin and I had our business together at. It was $3 and belonged with me!!! It has been in my stash waiting to make it’s debut in my decor, and I FOUND THE PERFECT WAY to do it.

Here’s what I used.
- Burlap Sack
- Staple Gun/ Staples
- 1×2 cut into two pieces
- Waverly Antique Wax from Walmart
- Jute/Twine
I started with trimming up the front of the sack, and making it as even as I could. I then measured the top and bottom and cut two pieces of 1×2 the right length.

I stained the 1×2 with my waverly antique wax. Once it was dry, I placed a piece on the top and secured it with staples on the back. I did the same thing on the bottom of the burlap sack.
I added a piece of rope to the top to hang my scroll, and TADAHHHH!!! I now have a beautiful piece of wall decor that definitely helps to warm up my space!!

I Love how it turned out so dang much!!!

If you love it as much as I do, could you do us a little favor and…
