Hey girl, hey! If you have seen our craft challenges in the past, you know things can get pretty crazy! We usually shop at the Dollar Tree for the supplies, but this time we shopped my craft room. Momma Susie might just win this one, y’all!
Don’t miss the video on this. It’s fun!
Here’s how our craft challenge goes:
We each pick five items for each other, keeping those items secret until time for the challenge.
Talk some smack.
Include all five items in the craft that we do.
Talk some more smack.
We can use essentials such as tools, paint, raffia, twine, glue, craft sticks, Mod Podge, stain, things like that, when we aren’t talking smack!
Here’s what we had to work with:
Momma Susie got a Dollar Tree tile, polka dot scrapbook paper, a surface (sign), a picture frame, pink pompom trim.
She gave me: A tinsel tree, yellow pompom trim, a metal plant hanger, a tin muffin cup and a hat shaped sign.
Here’s what “we” thought of it: (Note, ONE of us is laughing…)
I had a feeling Momma Susie might do me dirty, so I threw a wrench into this challenge! I had three small bags of EXTRA stuff she had to use. She picked one of the bags and here’s what was in it:
I had no idea whatsoever how to use the items she chose for me!
Momma Susie: “Oh, come on, it’s not that hard!”
Me: “Oh, really it is!”
Here’s how it’s going:
Momma Susie painted her frame pink and used the scrapbook paper for the background.
I cut the frame of the tinsel tree and used the pieces for stems. I painted those green, then put tinsel in a tart pan for a flower.
Momma Susie glued her frame to the tile and painted the “extra” items pink and put them around the frame.
I put the hat shaped sign into the planter. Then I shaped the tinsel into flowers and painted them pink and white. The little muffin tin is part of one of the flowers. I also painted the planter and added a burlap ribbon to hang it by.
But y’all, I think Momma Susie is the winner for this challenge. She aced it!
Let me know in the comments who YOU think won! I appreciate each one of you.
Thanks for stopping by,
