Hey y’all, hey! Aunt Criddy (my sister) always has something fun in store for Finn, and she found this after school snack idea on Pinterest to celebrate his first day of first grade! He really enjoyed making these and of course, eating them!
Check out the video below for all the fun, or just follow along here. These are super cute and easy to make!
What you’ll need:
Sugar wafers
White chocolate
Sprinkles
Mini chocolate chips (our store didn’t have them so we used sprinkles)
Let’s see how Aunt Criddy made this fun snack!
Aunt Criddy melted the chocolate and put the cookies in the fridge to make them easier to cut. She cut the tip into a point, and already we can see a pencil happening!

She dipped the flat end into the white chocolate, then into the pink sprinkles to form the eraser.
Then she dipped the point into the chocolate and then into the black sprinkles, and wow! Check out Finn’s expression! That is a super cute “pencil” cookie!

Finn just followed Aunt Criddy’s steps and look how proud he is! I love to see him get excited to create something.

I just love this picture of Finn! He made his very own!

Mr. Erin suggested graham crackers and I tried my hand at one. It turned out pretty good! Look at all our “pencils” on the wax paper! This is definitely a fun treat to make with your kids.

Aunt Criddy tried some colorful sprinkles on a piece of graham cracker. So cute!
TIP: Make color pencils by using different colors of sprinkles on the tip!

How to get a first grader to make an after school treat with you: Aunt Criddy promised him some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and he accepted the challenge!

Finally, we have the ultimate “Cooking with Criddy” taste test: Finn gives this treat a big thumbs up!

We had fun making these! Thanks to Aunt Criddy and Pinterest, Finn had fun making these with us. Let us know in the comments below what kind of unique after school treats you have tried. We appreciate each and every one of you!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
