Hey girl, hey! I found a craft kit at Dollar Tree and couldn’t wait to craft with it. Of course, I added some things to make it my own. The surface, flowers and the wood “hello” are extras, as you can see in the video and steps below!

That little craft kit has 12 pieces!

Supplies I used:
Dollar Tree: Boho craft kit, wood sign, burlap flowers
Lizzy and Erin Woodshop: “Hello” wood cutout from the “Hello Lemons” set
Walmart: Giant craft sticks
Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint: White Swan

Ready? Let’s make it!
I cut my craft sticks to fit the frame, and trimmed the last one for a snug fit.
Then I hot glued two craft sticks to hold all the others in place so I could paint them.
You can see in the pictures that I took what we will now call the “surface” out of the frame. The craft sticks are all joined by the two craft sticks.
I painted the surface, dried it and then sanded enough to bring out the detail so it looks like shiplap.
I popped it back in the frame, and it’s all done! Now it’s time to make the wreath.

I needed to glue the felt leaves back on to their wires, but that wasn’t a biggie. Once they were secured, I was able to twist them onto the wire circle.

Just twist that wire on, girl!

Now to decide how to position the wreath. Our friends had several suggestions during the live video! And those burlap flowers are from Dollar Tree, but were not part of the kit. I had them in my stash! Just glue them on to fit your style.

Hot glue your “Hello” onto the surface.
TIP: Paint your “Hello” black or whatever color you like! I kept mine natural.

And here’s the finished project! I even have pieces left over from that little kit, y’all. I didn’t use the bright green leaves or the little white balls. They might come out on a future project!

By the way, if y’all haven’t seen the Lizzy and Erin Woodshop, click here to visit! This beautiful “Hello Lemons” and the “Sunflower Sunshine” wood cutouts are in our “New Arrivals” section and just waiting for you to create!

Let me know in the comments how you might style your “Hello” on a wreath! I appreciate all of your comments.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
XOXO-Erin
