Before we get to the big reveal, let me give you the backstory about how we ended up in the Camper.
We are a Military family, my husband is active duty in the United States Army. So we tend to move about every 3 years, we like to call those moves “adventures” and they typically live up to that name. Well this move has been the “biggest adventured adventures” thus far.
Our adventure started out perfect we had an amazing road trip planned with so many stops mapped out along our journey from Georgia to Washington State. We visited with friends and family all along the way, we spent a week in the Pennsylvania mountains, stopped in Michigan for our week long family reunion. It was just amazing.
Once we arrived in Washington, we found out that it would be an undetermined amount of time before we could be put into a house on base. This base does not have enough houses for the amount of families coming in. So we got situated in a hotel and felt completely defeated, but knew we needed a good nights sleep to hit the ground running in the morning. And that’s just what we did, we looked at rentals, air bnbs, even thought about getting some tents and camping out. Then the lightbulb went off when rentals weren’t panning out, let’s look into getting an rv.
So we searched and searched until I spotted this one. I knew after looking at the brand new campers that that just wasn’t for me. I needed something I could put my own touch on. Something a little older, with a lot of miles on it. And that’s exactly what we got our hands on. I knew after seeing this one it was perfect. My wheels immediately started turning, I can do this to this and I can do that to that.
With a little love and lots of supplies, we have transformed this outdated camper into our cozy home on wheels.
Here are some before and after teasers! I CAN’T WAIT to show you more!!

Exciting!
Did you have wall paper in your camper? I have a motorhome and was thinking abt taking down the wallpaper and painting it if that’s possible.
I had a thin wallpaper border throughout our camper. It came off easy and then I just cleaned the sticky residue it left behind. Then started painting.
I love it! You did such a amazing job
