Y’all won’t believe how gorgeous this craft turned out! Check out the video below or you can also see how to make your own right here on the blog!
This is a beautiful Victorian bouquet reminiscent of the small ones people wore in the late 1800’s. It is bright and cheerful, and of course Debi’s Design Diary DIY Apothecary paint on the base makes it the perfect addition to any decor!

Almost everything came from the Dollar Tree, y’all! Here’s what you’ll need:
Supplies:
Dollar Tree: rectangle sign, wall tiles, floral, greenery, placemat, decorative hanger
Stash: Hymnal, clothespins, raffia, burlap strip, Mod Podge
Debi’s Design Diary DIY paint: Apothecary

Let’s make it!
Remove any embellishments from your sign. Mine had this heart, and I’ll use it in another project. Yours may have a metal or wood embellishment, so you can use a heat tool if you need to. If yours has glitter, you can just sand that off.
Cut the hanger off of the sign.

I cut my tile in half and it just worked out that it fit onto my surface. The tiles have adhesive, but I added hot glue for extra security.

Just as I started painting, my brush decided to jump ship! I just put a little glue in the metal part and stuck the wood handle back in. Anything can happen on a live video, and y’all it happens!
Y’all see that little jar of paint? It is so gorgeous! The color is Apothecary, and it is one of my absolute favorites!

Now that my paint brush is behaving, I painted the wall tile and then sanded it just a bit to bring out that metal look. Sanding really gives a project character!

Here’s how it’s going!

I used this Dollar Tree placemat to make the cone that will hold my flowers. Hot glue held it well, but I used a clothespin to keep the edges together until the glue dried.
TIP: Use large or small birthday party hats for your cone. A trio of small hats would be cute!

Here’s the placemat all glued together. I’ll be trimming the top and also covering the entire placemat with hymnal sheets.

You can see here that I gave the top a trimmy-trim and took off the point at the top. It’s going to look so pretty, y’all!

This next step is to cover the cone with hymnal sheets. I know not everyone likes this, but you can get the same effect by copying some pages on your copier and distressing them. You can also use scrapbook paper, gift wrapping or pretty much any kind of paper you’d like.

Just put Mod Podge onto the cone, then place your paper. Mod Podge again over the paper once it is adhered to your project.
Fold the paper over the top of your cone.
Look for any blank spots and just cover those with snips of paper.

Just seeing how it’s going to look!
This hanger is from Dollar Tree. They had white, this bronze one and a dark blue.
I used E-6000 and hot glue to glue the hanger on. The hot glue holds it right away and the E-6000 dries overnight and also gives it a more permanent hold.

I placed a piece of floral foam in the cone and then added some Dollar Tree florals and greenery. My assistant Judie suggested the raffia, and it was just right! I’m not a floral designer, but I think this turned out pretty cute, y’all!

You can see in these two pictures that I glued the cone to my surface, there at the bottom. I added a burlap hanger on the back and looped it over my hanger.

Here’s how I did the back. Just use a piece of burlap and hot glue pieces of a craft stick to secure it.

Here it is! Isn’t she gorgeous?

I really enjoyed creating this and hope you’ll try making one of your own! Thank you so much for stopping by. Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
