Let’s make it!
Here’s how it looks before painting.
I painted the first layer in White Swan, the next in Petticoat Pink. You don’t have to paint the entire piece on that first layer, because the pink one will lay over it. Next, I painted the letters with Kissing Booth.
Finn came to help me sand down the pieces…
…and decorate me with his “stained glass” crafted pieces. I have one earring, a necklace and a bracelet. He’s been super creative lately!
I used DAP glue to adhere my layers, then clipped the pieces together to dry.
I lined up the letters and used twine to join them.
I put my twine in from the front so the bulk of it lies behind each piece.
Once all were attached, I just put a spot of hot glue on the back of each one to hold it in place.
I made a bunch of little bows with ribbon and tied the centers with some baker’s twine, then hot glued them on.
And here we are!
There are so many ways to create with this! You can add beads or more ribbon, lace or whatever you want to make it as full as you want.
