All About Erin

Hey y’all!

Im gonna make this short and sweet and tell y’all everything you need to know about me šŸ˜‰

I’ll start with all the good, important stuff.

I’m a Wife and Mom of 3 beautiful boys, I have 14 year old twins and a 3 year old, so yes I’ve got the best of both worlds, 2 teenagers and a toddler. (pray for me)

My husband is active duty in the US Army, which keeps him away from home more often than we would like. (just keep praying for me)

I love my family, and I love my life. They support me and anything I’m passionate about, even when I pull up with a 5,000 lb dresser for them to unload.

My family likes to say I have hoarder tendencies, and I somewhat agree. They are my projects that I’ll eventually turn into something pretty, or my husband will just sell it all at our next yard sale. (if you’re reading this, I know where you sleep, and this includes the teenagers too)<—(y’all pray for them)

We also don’t stay in one place for too long, and you’ll never hear me complain about that part. I have a gypsy soul, I love to travel, and I’m always ready for a new adventure. (hell, everyday of my life is an adventure! Y’all remember the teenagers and toddler part right?! Ā Enough said…)

The extra perk to moving every few years is I get a whole new house to decorate and I LOVE TO DECORATE! (YASSS!!)

I’m currently painting furniture for a local furniture store. This definitely keeps me in my happy place, and we all know “If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy”. Ā I need at least one daily dose of “painting therapy” to keep my mental state in the safe zone.

I love to go junkin’. If I’m not home painting you can find me in thrift stores, alleys, and dusty old sheds. Oh, you wouldn’t believe the places and situations I’ve put myself in for a good ole piece of junk. No regrets!

My favorite outfit is made up of gym shorts, a tank top, and flip flops. Unless, I haven’t shaved, then I pull out the yoga pants (and no I’ve never done yoga, don’t judge!)

I am not a morning person, matter of fact don’t even try to contact me til’ at least noon. By then the coffee should be in my system.

On a serious note.

Im a Creator with a creative mind. Some see me as “all over the place” and IĀ  say sorry, not sorry, that’s just how I’m wired. Ā I have thoughts and ideas bouncing around all day everyday, it doesn’t just turn off.Ā  The average person may see a junky pile of crap, but I’m thinking of a million and 5 things I could make with that pile of crap.

Truthfully, the technology side of this blog scares the crap out of me, but my favorite saying is “She took the leap and built her wings on the way down”.

One way or another we will get it all figured out (or just hire help) because we have so much to share with y’all. We are gonna make the world pretty, one craft at a time, one laugh at time. So stay with us, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Its gonna be a hoot, I can promise that much!!

Hugs and love,

Erin

Twins, aren’t they fun! 🤪 Interesting thing about twins in my family is my older sister had twins too, isn’t that crazy! So my mom ended up with two sets of twin grandkids.

Keep pushing your best friend to follow her passion. This is one of my favorite sayings ā€œlove what you do and you’ll never work a day in your lifeā€ remind her to follow what she’s passionate about. Have her check out some booth spaces for rent in a local antique store or boutique, where she can display and sell her items.
Your a sweet friend and I pray you can help guide her, good luck my friend! šŸ’—

I have a question, the letters on your site, the ones for Dollar Tree. The are Love, Home, Family. Can you let me know where you got them from?

    Thanks,

I love watching your creations. I have 3 boys and their ages range from 21,19 almost 20 and an 11 year old autistic boy. I was blessed to adopt and they are my 2nd family. I also have a lot of stuff to create. It’s fun and relaxing. Keep doing what you do. Love watching you and Lizzie share your gifts.

I recently started watching you guys and I truly enjoy everything you do. I am getting so enthused to getting into doing some of the projects. I am anxious to get started! I don’t get out much as I don’t drive any more and have a problem walking. But I am determined to get to DT and H L in the next week. Please keep up the good work. I still dnot understand how to get into the bucket. I always just happen upon you and never know when that might be. Do you give notice when you are going to come on?0

Erin, you are a hoot and a joy. Both you ladies brighten my day. I really get miffed if someone interrupts me watching you ladies live.
You need to have a Lizzy and Erin episode of each of you finding those cool old dusty pieces and show how to bring them back to life. You may have and I just haven’t binged it yet.
Love it when we get see your family.

Thank both of your husbands for their service.
Love, Love, Love you girls! You truly make my day.
