Lizzy and Erin started their friendship/partnership over 4 years ago after an awkward encounter in an antique store. Erin was already operating a successful small business out of her booth in the store. One day Lizzy found herself wandering the aisles, searching for some clarity on what the future would hold for her dream to have her own space in the store. Erin, after seeing Lizzy walk by for the 10th time decided to reach out and ask if she was lost (she was unaware if Lizzy was potentially stalking her, or just looking for something). The next thing they both knew they were at a thrift store digging through bins, and Erin was showing Lizzy the ways of her trade. After some time, they made the decision to go into business together. They spent the next year running a moderately successful small business, upcycling, repainting, refinishing, and refurbishing furniture until the military took their families different directions.
That awkward encounter was just the beginning of the realization that they both had window seats on the hot mess express, and so Lizzy and Erin “Flawed to Perfection” was born. Over time “Lizzy and Erin” has become a community of like minded creatives that are inspired to create on a budget. Just about every situation they encounter is in some version of chaos. Together their D.I.Y. knowledge is strong, and their individual lives are nothing short of entertaining. Motherhood, friendship, military life, family life, and a whole lot of DIY-ing on a budget are just a few things they know a little about. Hopefully you’ll find yourself lost in their chaos, creating and loving every minute of life.
