5 Minute Embroidery Hoop Pumpkins

Hey Y’all!!

This one is so simple I can’t even stand it. I was so excited about it, I couldn’t wait to make it live for everyone over on Facebook. You can watch that right here if you want!

I have fall on the brain, and these SIMPLE embroidery hoop pumpkins are going to steal the show in my home this FALL!

Here’s what you need:

  • Embroidery Hoop (Any size you’d like)
  • Fabric (Any color you’d like) . I used orange burlap, a creamy white sweater material, orange polka dot, and a solid orange fabric.
  • Brown Fabric or Ribbon for the stem
  • Jute/Twine
  • Trimmings (I used Raffia) . Feel free to get creative, add a bow, use some different trimmings. Make it you own!

Cut a square of fabric that will fit in your embroidery hoop. Next, cut a strip of brown fabric for the stem.

Lay your fabric over the inside of the hoop.

Take your strip of brown fabric and put it under the metal screw on the outside of the hoop so that when you pull it up it hides the screw.

Put your hoop back together with the fabric inside. Make sure to tighten your screw down so that it doesn’t come apart.

Trim the back of the fabric down. (You could add a bead of glue if you are worried about fraying).

Tie the piece of twine around the top of your brown strip of fabric making a little loop in the back so you have a way to hang the pumpkin and keep the stem up.

Attach your greenery and your trimmings. And TADAAAA!!! You have a simple embroidery hoop pumpkin that will really take your fall decor to the next level.

This one is easy to do with the kiddos and super quick too!!!

I just love the way they turned out!

If you love them as much as we do, could you do us a little favor and…

PIN IT FOR LATER?
